Immunorad-ROBIN didactic curriculum
The ROBIN Cross-Training Core is excited to resume the "Fundamentals of Radiation and Immunity" Curriculum in September 2023 !
The seminar series have been successful with attendees from various institutions including University of Chicago, Emory University, Weill Cornell
Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, University of Maryland and NIH!
We had the privilege of a wonderful talk from Dr. Connell to launch the seminar series on 09/06/2023! Please continue to encourage trainees at your institutions to attend to maintain the momentum of our ROBIN curriculum.

MCT trial updates
Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) was able to achieve BRANY IRB approval Date on 9/19/22 for the ROBIN MCT protocol with local WCM IRB acknowledgement on 12/27/22. The protocol was opened to accrual at WCM on 01/10/23 and the first enrollment at WCM occurred on 05/16/2023.
Project 1:
A complete set of tissue samples has been obtained from the first patient and is currently being analyzed.
Project 2:
Pre- and post- radiation and post surgery peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) have been collected and already processed and analyzed.
ROBIN-Seed Grant Program
The ImmunoRad ROBIN-CTC will seek applications for the Seed Grant Program (SGP). The primary goal of this seed grant program is to help ROBIN young scientists and junior faculty lay the groundwork for innovative research in Radiation and Immunity to help secure external funding or complete experiments for the revisions of a publication.
Grant amount: $20,000
Duration: 1 year
The ImmunoRad ROBIN will call for application to the ROBIN-SGP in the fall 2023.
