Now that our Immuno-ROBIN network has officially started, we are thrilled to launch the quarterly ROBIN Newsletter to share updates and upcoming events with our ROBIN network! The primary goal of this initiative is to broadcast potential collaboration opportunities within the ROBIN network, familiarize ROBIN members with each other through a "faculty and trainee" or a "Immuno-ROBIN research project" spotlight, publicize academic achievements, and broadcast the ROBIN CTC training/funding opportunities!
Immuno-ROBIN didactic curriculum
The ROBIN Cross-Training Core (CTC) is excited to start the "Fundamentals of Radiation and Immunity" Curriculum in January 2023! This ROBIN CTC program will take place every other week for a total of 16 sessions. Each seminar will be one hour. This "core" curriculum will be available to all Immuno-ROBIN participants and will be a primer course that includes foundational and introductory material on clinical radiation oncology, radiation/cancer biology (including radiomics), medical physics (including
bioinformatics) and immunology. Please encourage trainees at your institutions to attend.
The ROBIN CTC core encourages active participation in the curriculum.
The full CTC Curriculum schedule will be released in the coming weeks!
Call for applications for the Immuno-ROBIN-YSEP program
The ROBIN CTC Core is excited to announce the call for applications to the ROBIN Young Scientist Exchange Program (YSEP). These "mini-sabbatical" grants will provide the opportunity for young scientists from an Immuno-ROBIN laboratory to acquire new scientific and/or clinical knowledge in a different field.
Applications are due by January 16th, 2023.
