Dr. Cristina Montagna

s a Professor and PI at Rutgers University. Dr. Montagna is a cancer genetics expert who has dedicated her scientific career to oncogene discovery and to study genomic alterations of the cancer genome. More recently she expanded her studies to understand how age-related accumulation of mutations contributes to disease at old age. Dr. Montagna has expertise with spatial transcriptomics and the development of advanced technologies to study human cancer of advanced technologies to study human cancer. For this study Dr. Montagna will oversee the spatial transcriptomics experiments proposed in Project 1 and will, jointly with Dr. Galluzzi and Dr. Shen interpret the results.
